About Chris Marks
Christopher Marks is an advocate, coach and student of the game of tennis. Chris has been coaching tennis since 2004. He is rated by the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) as an Elite Professional and is a Junior Development Specialist with the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).
Chris has a passion for helping others successfully transition from high performance junior student athletes to collegiate student athletes. His goal as a coach is to help youth be successful tennis players while helping their families navigate the world of competitive tennis.
Chris graduated from the University of Kentucky in History and Social Studies Secondary Education. The knowledge and experience obtained during his years as an education major has created a strong teaching foundation and background for working with youth and families. Although Chris specializes in working with performance level tennis athletes, he is still a teacher that simply loves sharing the game of tennis with all ages.
